Discover the Byzantine and Ottoman heritage of Istanbul with a private city tour starting from Galataport. Designed for cruise passengers, this program includes a meet-and-greet at the port and private vehicle transport to the Historical Peninsula, bringing together the city's main historical landmarks on a single route.
The tour begins at the Hippodrome and Sultanahmet Square, continuing with visits to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. Professional guide commentary covers the architectural features of these structures alongside Istanbul's daily life, beliefs, and administrative culture throughout different eras.
After a lunch break, the courtyards and accessible sections of Topkapi Palace are explored. Depending on the ship's port stay and the day's visitor density, the program is completed with a visit to either the Basilica Cistern or the Theodosius Cistern.
With start and return times adjusted according to the ship's schedule, this private tour offers a comprehensive and planned cultural experience for guests with limited time in Istanbul. At the end of the tour, guests are dropped off at Galataport in accordance with the return plan confirmed during booking.

- 1- Ship times and return to port:
- a) The ship's name, arrival date in Istanbul, docking time, and the final boarding time reported by the ship must be shared during booking. The tour start time is finalized by taking into account disembarkation procedures.
- b) The return to Galataport is planned by leaving a buffer for traffic, terminal access, and security procedures before the ship's final boarding time. Therefore, the order and duration of visits may be adjusted according to the day's conditions. Guests must inform the tour team of any time changes reported by the ship.
- c) The meet-and-greet is carried out at the meeting point described in the booking confirmation. Meeting at the ship's gangway or in controlled areas of the terminal is not included in the service unless specifically confirmed.
- 2- Scope of visits and cistern option:
- a) The feasibility of the entire program depends on the ship's stay in port and the density at the visit points. For voyages with a short stay in port, priority visits are determined during the booking stage to create a shorter route.
- b) The visit to the Basilica or Theodosius Cistern is carried out if there is sufficient time remaining after the main visits; visiting both cisterns together is not planned. The cistern visit is not guaranteed as a definitive service and may be removed from the program to protect the return plan to the port.
- c) Queues for entry, security checks, and temporary closures of sections may occur at museums and historical structures. Purchasing tickets in advance does not mean that all waiting and security lines will be skipped. Guide commentary is provided in accordance with the current visiting rules of each venue.
- 3- Closed days and worship arrangements:
- a) The visit to the Blue Mosque is planned according to worship arrangements and visitor admission conditions. Clothing that covers shoulders and knees should be preferred in places of worship; female guests should have a headscarf. The directions of the staff on duty at the entrance must be followed.
- b) The scope of the visit may change due to public holidays, religious days, maintenance work, or decisions of authorized institutions. Changes known in advance are notified during booking.
- 4- Walking and personal needs:
- a) A significant part of the tour on the Historical Peninsula is carried out on foot. The private vehicle may not be able to reach the entrance of each visit point. The route includes stone floors, stairs, and sections that require standing for long periods.
- b) It is recommended to choose comfortable walking shoes and clothing suitable for the season. Guests with limited mobility or those participating with a stroller are requested to provide information before booking so that the suitability of the route can be evaluated.
- c) You must carry your ship card and the documents required by ship and port authorities for disembarkation. Dietary preferences, allergies, and special needs must be reported in advance. The scope of entrance tickets and any additional service fees are explained before booking confirmation.
