This journey will allow us to discover that Tozeur is not just sand, but also a wonderland that hosts the most striking contrasts of nature. Our first stop is Chebika, a Desert Oasis where sunlight hits the rocks and creates fairy-tale reflections. This region, which was once a resting point for Roman soldiers, is a desert oasis paradise with its hidden water sources and lush texture. Here, we will witness the miracles of nature by listening to the peaceful sound of water flowing through the rocks. Afterward, we will reach Tamerza, the largest mountain oasis in Tunisia. With its clear waterfalls, steep cliffs, and dazzling views, Tamerza is one of the fascinating beauties that nature offers us. The contrast created by the hot and arid atmosphere of the desert and these refreshing water sources makes the region fascinating. Mides Canyon is like a work of art patiently crafted by nature! These deep canyons, shaped by wind and water over millions of years, fascinate visitors with their eye-catching curves and majestic structure. Here, we will have the opportunity to observe nature's centuries-old art by following the traces of geological time. After our safari tour, we will reach the Star Wars film set, where we will step into a science fiction universe in the middle of the desert. After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for Douz, known as the "Gateway to the Desert." Douz, one of Tunisia's most impressive natural wonders, is a unique point that makes you feel the magic of the Sahara with its endless sand dunes. This is a geography where Berber tribes have led a nomadic life for centuries and camel caravans have left their mark. Here, while experiencing the deep silence of the desert, we will witness the impressive landscapes created by endless sand dunes. In the infinity of the Sahara, we will feel the fascinating power of nature by watching the unique patterns the wind has carved into the sand. The sand dunes offer a natural painting with their curves shaped by the wind and their tones that change depending on the daylight. After saying goodbye to the mystical atmosphere of Douz, we will move towards Matmata, famous for its eye-catching underground houses. In this region, the cave houses used by the Berber people for thousands of years are an impressive heritage carrying the traces of the past. This unique architecture of Matmata is a unique building style developed to protect against the scorching heat of summer and the harsh winds of winter. The exotic atmosphere of the region is so impressive that it has inspired the unforgettable scenes of the Star Wars films. While wandering in this fascinating environment, you will feel like you are in a movie scene and we will have the opportunity to experience the traditional Berber culture closely.
