Where Mythology Meets the Sea: Volos
On the shores of the Pagasetic Gulf, a city rises, leaning its back against the emerald green forests of the massive Mount Pelion: Volos. This is not just a bustling port city or an industrial center of Greece; from the moment you set foot here, it is a mysterious geography where the legends of mythology and the rhythm of modern life are perfectly intertwined. These lands, where Jason and the Argonauts set sail to find the "Golden Fleece" and where the Centaurs (Chiron), the half-human half-horse figures of mythology, lived, still carry the same mystical energy today. Understanding Volos and touching its soul begins with a long and leisurely walk along the coastline (Argonaftor). On one side, the calm waters of the gulf, and on the other, the "Tsipouradika," the traditional tsipouro venues that have become the symbol of the city, are lined up. Drinking tsipouro in Volos is not an ordinary act of eating, but a deep-rooted social ritual passed down through generations. The fresh mezes that come to the table with every small bottle of tsipouro you order summarize the city's generosity and culinary culture. Here, time melts away between the variety of mezes and the depth of friendly conversations. Mount Pelion, which rises right next to the city like a guardian, gives Volos a completely different identity. This mountain, which you can climb within minutes from sea level, is home to hidden mountain villages with stone houses, centuries-old plane trees, and ice-cold flowing springs. This contrast, where you can enjoy the cool sea and beaches in summer and ski on its snowy peaks in winter, makes Volos a dynamic destination that lives through all four seasons. The nostalgic sounds of the historic Pelion train on the tracks mix with the scent of olive groves at the foothills of the mountain. Volos is a city for those who have a deep character, far from ostentation. As the sun sets over the gulf in the evening, the lights of the fishing boats approaching the port reflect on the sea. Blending the pride of its mythological past with the salt of the Aegean and the clean mountain air of Pelion, Volos is a Mediterranean narrative waiting to be discovered, offering its visitors both the infinity of the sea and the wisdom of the mountains at the same time.

Our ship's departure time is 18:00

Santorini, Greece

After our ship's arrival in Santorini at 10:00, you can set out to explore by participating in the extra tours organized by the ship.

Blue Infinity Born from Ashes: Santorini
Santorini (Thira), located in the south of the Aegean Sea at the southernmost tip of the Cyclades, is the most romantic and visually striking island in the world. A massive Minoan volcanic eruption that occurred approximately 3,600 years ago submerged the center of the island, leaving behind steep cliffs called the "Caldera." Santorini is the most concrete proof of how nature's fury can turn into an aesthetic masterpiece with its snow-white villages built on these wild and black volcanic cliffs.
Architectural Magic on the Edge of the Cliff: Oia and Fira
Fira (the capital) and Oia villages, which seem to cling to the highest points of the island, form the unforgettable silhouette of Santorini. In these villages, which are the most refined examples of traditional Cycladic architecture, houses are built in steps, stepping on each other's roofs. Snow-white lime-painted walls, blue-domed churches competing with the endless blue of the Aegean Sea, and narrow stone streets turn the island into a giant art gallery.
The World's Most Famous Sunset
Oia village hosts a world-class ritual every evening. Thousands of people gather in the village's historic castle and streets to watch the moment the sun paints the sky in shades of orange, pink, and purple as it sets behind the Aegean Sea and the Caldera cliffs. When the sunset is complete, the applause rising from the entire island crowns this nature show.
Beach of Volcanic Colors
Santorini has extraordinary beaches that reflect the island's geological past, very different from the usual yellow sandy beaches:
• Red Beach: It resembles a surreal Mars landscape with the massive steep red volcanic rocks it leans against and its dark-colored sand.
• Black Beaches (Perissa and Kamari): These wide shores, consisting of black volcanic sand and pebbles, are ideal for enjoying the sea with their crystal-clear, deep, and cool waters.
Akrotiri Ancient City and Wine Culture
For history buffs, Akrotiri, located in the south of the island, is a Bronze Age settlement perfectly preserved under volcanic ash and is called the "Pompeii of the Aegean." On the other hand, Santorini has a unique wine culture thanks to the mineral richness provided by its volcanic soil. The island's unique white Assyrtiko wine, produced from vines grown close to the ground in basket shapes (Kouloura) to protect them from strong winds, and the sweet Vinsanto are indispensable for gourmet travelers.

Our ship's departure time is 20:00

Nafplion, Greece

After our ship's arrival in Nafplion at 09:00, you can set out to explore by participating in the extra tours organized by the ship.

Poetry of Blue and Stone: Nafplion
At the gateway to the Argolic Gulf of the Peloponnese Peninsula, a fairy-tale city hides that time dares not touch: Nafplion. This port city, which carries the pride of being the first capital in modern Greek history, is neither just a seaside town nor an ordinary historical settlement. It is a timeless masterpiece where Venetian nobility, Ottoman traces, and the Hellenic spirit meet on the same narrow street, on the same bougainvillea-scented wall. When you step into Nafplion, your steps inevitably take you on a vertical journey through time. While the Palamidi Fortress, which dominates the city's silhouette, climbs toward the sky with its legendary 999-step staircase, the Bourtzi Fortress, gliding like a swan in the middle of the gulf, greets the past from the middle of the sea. The ancient walls of Akronafplia embrace the city with a thousand-year loyalty between these two beauties. Here, stone is not just a building material; it is the living witness of loves, wars, and cries for freedom. As you walk in Syntagma Square, considered the heart of the city, the marble floors under your feet sparkle. The Italian-style squares in the shade of neoclassical mansions give one the feeling of being in a Renaissance city rather than a Greek town. Fuchsia-colored bougainvilleas hanging from narrow streets flirt silently with pastel-toned shutters. The handmade ice cream shops you encounter at every corner and the taverns smelling of fresh ouzo whisper the unhurried lightness of being Mediterranean to your soul. Nafplion is not a city of rushed vacations, but of moments that must be savored. As you walk along the Arvanitia coastal road in the evening, massive rocks rise on one side, and a sheet-like sea painted orange by the setting sun on the horizon lies on the other. As the sun disappears behind the Peloponnese mountains, the lights begin to turn on one by one in the fortresses, and Nafplion sparkles in the dark like a sailor's lantern. It is a Mediterranean dream that fascinates people with every wave and every stone, as if justifying the name it received from Nafplios, the son of the sea god Poseidon of mythology.

Our ship's departure time is 19:00

Athens (Piraeus), Greece

After our ship's arrival at Piraeus Port at 07:00, you can set out to explore by participating in the extra tours organized by the ship.

Where Ancient Heritage Meets the Sea: Athens and Piraeus
Athens and its inseparable part, the port city of Piraeus, are a perfect synthesis of the glorious legends of the past and modern Mediterranean life. Athens, accepted as the cradle of Western civilization and democracy, reaches for the sky with its thousands-year-old monuments; while Piraeus, its gateway to the maritime world, is the busiest port center of the Mediterranean that has given life to the city since ancient times. These two centers offer travelers both a historical discovery and a lively coastal life with their complementary energies.
The Peak of History: Acropolis and Plaka
The heart and silhouette of Athens beat on the Acropolis hill, which can be seen from everywhere in the city. The Parthenon Temple, dedicated to the Goddess Athena and an architectural masterpiece, carries the splendor of the ancient world to the present day. When you descend toward the foothills of the Acropolis, the Plaka district welcomes you. Known as the "Neighborhood of the Gods," Plaka is the most charming settlement of Athens with its neoclassical houses, narrow streets decorated with bougainvilleas, traditional taverns, and nostalgic atmosphere. Monastiraki, right next to it, reflects the dynamic rhythm of the city with its lively square and historic flea market.
The Heart of the Sea: Piraeus Port and Hidden Bays
Piraeus, reached by a short journey south from the center of Athens, is not just a transit point, but a massive port city with its own unique character. This region, to which Ancient Athens owed its military and commercial power, is still the main base for giant passenger ships going to the Aegean islands today. However, the real charm of Piraeus is hidden in the bays behind the port:
• Pasalimani (Zea Marina): It is a modern and lively social area where luxury yachts are moored and stylish cafes and shops are lined up along the coast.
• Mikrolimano: It is a romantic bay where small fishing boats and exclusive seafood restaurants are lined up side by side, offering an island atmosphere for dinners.
• Kastella: This neighborhood, which is the highest hill of Piraeus, is fascinating with its neoclassical mansions and the panoramic Saronic Gulf view it offers from the hill.
Culture, Gastronomy, and Unlimited Energy
Athens and Piraeus are a true paradise for gourmet travelers. After watching the changing of the guard of the soldiers in Syntagma Square, you can follow the fresh spice scents rising from local markets (Varvakios Agora); you can taste traditional Greek flavors such as Souvlaki, fresh seafood, and the famous Greek Salad. While the city carries all the energy of a modern metropolis with its nightlife that lasts until morning in districts like Psiri and Gazi, it offers peace to its guests with the sea breeze blowing from the sea on the shores of Piraeus.
