MADRID – TOLEDO – SEVILLE- ECIJA

After the morning breakfast to be taken at the hotel, departure for Seville, affiliated with the province of Seville. On the way, guests who wish can participate in the Magnificently Organized Toledo Tour. (70 Euros) Located approximately 70 kilometers away from Madrid, Toledo is a historical city protected by Unesco, which has hosted different cultures of the Iberian Peninsula and bears the traces of Roman, Visigoth, Muslim, and Christian civilizations. It is known for its magnificent medieval architecture and cultural heritage. In our tour in this open-air museum city, we will see Toledo Cathedral (from the outside), the oldest cathedral of Spain, churches converted from Andalusian mosques, and countless other wonders in the historical narrow streets. Seville, the capital of Andalucia, is our next stop. Seville is a historical city famous for its historical and cultural richness located in the Andalusia region of Spain. During our city tour in Seville, located on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, the places to see will first be Maria Luisa Park and Plaza America, where Plaza de Espana is also located, Seville Cathedral (from the outside), the world's third largest cathedral which also houses the tomb of Christopher Columbus, right next to the cathedral, the Giralda Minaret, which carries the memory of the Umayyad State of Andalusia and is the last piece surviving to the present day from the mosque built upon the cathedral, and the Alcazar (from the outside), the palace of the Castilian kings. Then, passing through the Indies Archives, where the records of all maritime expeditions made to the American continent from the discovery until the 19th century were kept, we will reach the old narrow streets of the Santa Cruz neighborhood, referred to as "old" Seville. At the end of our walk, after seeing the old tobacco factory used as the central campus of the University of Seville and Torre del Oro, which is the Golden Tower and today's naval museum, departure for Ecija. Our city tour begins upon our arrival. Ecija is a historical city located in the south of Spain, in the Andalusia region, and affiliated with the province of Seville. Commonly referred to as the "Peacock of Andalusia" or the "City of Towers", Écija is known for its rich baroque architecture and magnificent historical structures. Known as "Astigi" during the Roman period, the city was one of the important centers of the Hispania Ulterior province. The city was also an important cultural and economic center during the period of the Umayyads of Andalusia. Today, while walking the streets of Écija, a historical atmosphere filled with elegant palaces from the baroque period, churches, and tall bell towers can be felt. Especially the Santa María and San Juan churches from the 18th century are among the finest examples of baroque art. For travelers interested in history, art, and traditional Andalusian architecture, Écija is like a hidden jewel waiting to be discovered. While wandering the narrow streets of the city, it is possible to find traces from both the Roman and Islamic periods. Transfer to our hotel after our tour. Overnight stay at the hotel.
