MEDICAL SUPPORT

If our passengers need to receive emergency medical support while in the region, they must first contact Unico Insurance via the contact numbers provided below.

The guest can go to any hospital to receive treatment.

In emergency situations and in cases where the passenger or the guide cannot contact the assistance company, a doctor-signed report, a document stating the illness, and an invoice must be obtained from the hospital as required. The fact that our passengers have a travel barrier or are unable to continue their travel must also be documented by the hospital and doctor they went to for treatment.

THEFT (Baggage theft)

Damages related to theft for our guests who have purchased Unico Travel Health Insurance are included in the baggage coverage. This means that the theft must occur from within the baggage or from a bag via snatching.

The police report kept due to theft must include all details and approximate values of the stolen items written by the police, which can be done with the guidance of our guides (in other cases, i.e., a report without item details, the damage cannot be covered even if it is an official document). - Limited to 200 Euros.

Losses left behind or entrusted by the passenger are not covered (e.g., items stolen after being left on a table in the breakfast hall while the passenger goes to get breakfast). Damages that individuals classify as theft will only be valid in cases of robbery or snatching.

BAGGAGE LOSS OR DAMAGE (bus-plane) for all types of baggage

In case of delayed or lost luggage, a report must be filed before passing through customs. After the first 12 hours from the report time, passengers can make expenditures for essential needs within a 100 Euro limit. An invoice for all expenditures made within the 100 Euro limit must be obtained and submitted to the insurance company upon return. Applications of our guests who do not submit an invoice will be evaluated negatively by the insurance company.

UNPLANNED INTERRUPTION OF TRAVEL

The return coverage includes serious illnesses or injuries of our guests' first-degree relatives - relatives at risk, or themselves, 'provided that it is documented'.

If flight tickets become subject to penalties or are forfeited, it is mandatory to obtain an invoice from the airline company.

For our guests who have purchased a comprehensive Travel Health policy, there is a delay coverage. It provides assurance for extra food, transportation expenses, and accommodation. Details can be learned from the Travel Health policy or Unico Insurance.

All coverages mentioned above are for our guests who have purchased the Travel Assurance Package.

GENERAL NOTES AND WARNINGS FOR ALL OUR TOURS :
** Some of our programs are offered based on several alternative hotels. The guide and transfer vehicle for our programs with different hotel categories are the same, but the hotels are different.
** Cancellations and changes cannot be made by our guests in our promotional tours. Please pay attention to the sales contract of the tour you purchased.
** In our promotional tours, hotel distances are far from city centers.
** In line with the requests from our guests, 2 different hotel categories can be opened for a program. The guide and buses used for these programs are shared.
** Triple rooms are subject to hotel availability, and if not confirmed by the hotels, the room type must be changed. In this case, the resulting Single room difference is requested from our guests. In triple rooms, 3rd beds are extra beds or sofa beds and are smaller than standard beds. If an extra bed is added, the room's movement space may be restricted. There is no guarantee of 3 separate beds in triple rooms, and the rooms are smaller than standard rooms.
** Our program is a group program, and group reservations are made at hotels. The content of group continental breakfasts may differ from the content of individual breakfasts. The content of breakfasts to be taken at hotels in the countries visited is not a Turkish breakfast. Group breakfasts are served in a separate hall in some countries' hotels.
** Child discounts are valid if they stay in the same room with 2 adults.
** In general, the baggage allowance for flights departing from Turkey is 20 kg. This weight may vary depending on the airline and the country to be visited. On domestic flights in the countries visited, this weight may drop to 15 kg. Excess baggage weight/price rules are determined by airlines and are not under the responsibility of Prontotour.
** Prontotour is an intermediary institution between our guests and the consulate and does not guarantee any visa acquisition. The consulate's refusal to grant a visa or rejection is not under the responsibility of Prontotour. Visa situations in our programs are given based on Republic of Turkey passports. Guests with other country passports should check their visa situations with consulates and/or our Prontotour visa department.
** Please ensure that you have taken all your belongings when leaving the vehicles you use and the hotels you stay in during your trip.
** Extra tours are valid with a minimum participation of 20 people. In case of participation under 20 people, the differences that will arise due to costs are reflected in the sales price. The price difference is informed by our guide before the tour. The days of extra tours may be changed in case of museums and archaeological sites being closed, or due to extraordinary circumstances or weather conditions in the region visited.
** Check-in time at hotels is usually 14:00 (15:00 in some countries), and check-out time is 10:00 (09:00 in some countries).
** The times of domestic flights included in our tours may change. Final time and airline information must be confirmed 48 hours before the tour. The content of the program may be changed according to connecting flight times.
** Our guide may make changes to the days of the city tour and/or extra tours, depending on the content of our tours.
** Passports must have a minimum validity of 6 months, based on the end date of the trip. Our guests traveling with less than 6 months may face the situation of not being admitted to the country by the country's passport police. In addition, torn or damaged passports may not be accepted by border police.
** Panoramic city tours do not include museum and archaeological site entrances and are intended to provide general information about the city.
** To use your mobile phones abroad, check with your line provider whether your phone is open for international use before leaving Turkey.
** Guests who join the group without flights are responsible for their own transportation to the group's hotel if they join the group with another flight.
** During registration, the name, date of birth, and passport number on the passport must be entered into the system. Flight tickets are issued according to this information. The no-show fee for flight ticket cancellations or changes arising from incorrect information is reflected to the guests.
** Guests who want to upgrade their flight tickets with miles can only perform upgrade procedures if there is availability on the Turkish Airlines flight after their tickets are issued. However, the flight seats in our programs are group seats. Group tickets are issued a few days before the tour departure. We kindly ask you to check whether the group tickets of the program are in the upgrade class before registration.
** Flight times specified in the programs are taken from THY and other local carriers. Our agency cannot be held responsible for any changes to flight times, flight cancellations, delays arising from technical malfunctions of the aircraft, or disruptions or problems arising from the passenger missing domestic or international connecting flights.
** On our tours without a guide, at transfer points, be sure to check the transfer time and which gate/terminal your other flight will depart from on the screens. If you deem it necessary, be sure to ask the airline/airport information desk.
** Instead of the airlines to be flown on inter-country and domestic flights specified in the program, another local carrier/carriers may be flown. Therefore, transfer points may increase and times may vary. In this case, Prontotour cannot be held responsible.
** The road distances given in the program are official KM distances. However, when situations such as traffic, weather conditions, road works, the geographical location of the country visited, and road conditions are encountered, the given approximate times may change.
** Prontotour may change the order of cities in the program and the main airline to be flown without disrupting the content of the program in cases of force majeure or when deemed necessary.
